THANKFUL

1 THESSALONIAS 5 18Over the past few months I have struggled with some physical issues. This week my doctor  told me that everything is ok concerning the previous medical issues. I have been through some major periods of worry and trust and have struggled through my faith. But God has proven faithful. He is stronger than any fears in my head, real or imagined. He has given me wonderful people to work with at my job who are extremely caring and who pray when I mention a need. I can’t imagine being able to find a more nurturing set of friends and co-workers than the ones I have now.

I am thankful for my family who stand by me though all the physical issues that tend to come with age. Though I am young at heart my body seems to be saying that it is older. My family is wonderful and always encouraging to me through everything. I am extremely thankful for my husband who listens to all my complaints and still loves me. He pushes me to be the best that I can be and cares for me. I am thankful that he has recently found work that we hope will improve our finances.

I am thankful that God provides relief from testing times and allows me to relax in His arms. He reminded me that I could not have a testimony without going through a test. Thursday is Thanksgiving and I just wanted to start sharing what I am thankful for this week.

I will be back next week with more thanksgiving.

  1. Kitty, you’ve passed this test faithfully, glorified God in the process, and remembered to thank Him. What a wonderful testimony.
