The year is at the end and for my family it has been a year full of good and bad events. We have experienced births, funerals, weddings and engagements. We have experienced pains and sprains, weakness and sickness and healings. There have been dramas, comedies, and a family reunion that brought us closer together.
With all of these events we have taken pictures, snapshots of the events that will help us remember what happened this year. We have stored memories in our minds of the good, the bad and the ugly. But what is most important is how we lived the year in the midst of all the good, bad and ugly events.
For all of us there will be times that we shined and times that we missed it. The good news is:
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
A new year brings the promise of a new opportunity to shine the light of Jesus in our everyday lives. I hope that at the posting of this blog you are healthy physically, emotionally and spiritually and I pray that you will be blessed from this day forward as you follow the Lord Jesus Christ with all you heart, soul and mind. Enjoy your week and I will be back next week with more.
